GTA 6 100% Completion Guide: What’s Confirmed, What’s Guesswork, and How to Prepare
GTA 6 100% Completion Guide pages are already everywhere, but a verified checklist can’t exist yet, because the game isn’t out. Rockstar has set the release for Thursday, November 19, 2026, and it hasn’t published a checklist or trophy list. Plenty of pages still promise exact mission counts and hour totals. This GTA 6 100% completion guide sticks to what’s confirmed, flags what isn’t, and shows you how to prepare so you don’t miss anything on day one. For the wider picture, our GTA 6 news and confirmed details page tracks each announcement.
Quick answers
- Official 100% checklist: Not published.
- Platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC release date is announced.
- Hours to 100%: Unknown. Every figure you’ll see is an estimate.
- Trophies and Platinum: Rockstar hasn’t released an official trophy or achievement list.
- Cheats: None announced.
- Demo or early download: Doesn’t exist, and every one is malware.
Is there an official GTA 6 100% completion guide or checklist yet?

No. Rockstar hasn’t published one. Pages sold as a GTA 6 100% completion guide right now are either honest placeholders or educated guesses. GTABase says its official checklist and tracker will go live after release and only lists what it expects, based on past GTA games. One competitor goes much further, stating a mission count, a stranger-mission count and act-by-act structure. We couldn’t find any Rockstar source for those numbers, and that site’s own pages contradict each other on the mission total. We won’t repeat them.
GTA 6 100% Completion Guide: What a Rockstar Checklist Looks Like (GTA V as the Template)
GTA V is the best precedent. Sportskeeda’s breakdown of Rockstar’s checklist weights story missions at 55%, hobbies and pastimes at 10%, Strangers and Freaks at 10%, random events at 5%, and miscellaneous activities at 20%. It also notes Rockstar’s in-game checklist listed 20 strangers when the true count was 24. Official numbers can be off, so we’ll verify GTA 6’s against actual play.
Three lessons from the GTAForums 100% strategy guide are worth asking on day one:
- Not everything counts fully. GTA V only required half the stunt jumps, bridge flights and knife flights for 100%.
- Gold medals were separate. The official 100% didn’t need gold medals; they belong to their own trophy.
- Missables exist. A final-mission choice could lock content, and one random event became unavailable after an early heist.
What did 100% reward? It varied. GTA III and GTA 2 gave nothing, while Vice City gave infinite ammo and extra health and armor, and San Andreas gave $1,000,000, infinite ammo, sturdier vehicles and a spawned Hydra and Rhino. GTA V unlocked The Last One. GTA 6’s reward, if any, is unknown.
What’s confirmed about GTA 6 that will shape completion
Each item below carries a status label:
- Two protagonists (confirmed). Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos can switch roles during missions. Whether activities count per character is unknown.
- Some missions may lock you to one character (observed, not explained). Engadget’s frame-by-frame analysis suggests certain missions allow only one character.
- Heists and robberies (confirmed footage). One breakdown of the Extended Look reports store robberies and drug-house raids, with less linear missions and multiple ways in and out.
- Shared money (reported). Money and inventory appear to be shared resources during joint operations.
- Activities (confirmed). Rockstar showed basketball, weightlifting, scuba diving, kayaking, jet skis, fanboats, dirt bikes, racing, fishing and base jumping. Which ones count toward 100% is unknown.
- Six-star wanted level (confirmed). Police retain details about your appearance and vehicle.
- Six named regions (confirmed). Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. No official map or size exists.
- Interiors (not confirmed). Rockstar has never confirmed the widely repeated 700 enterable buildings.
How many hours will GTA 6 take to 100%?

Nobody outside Rockstar knows. Circulating estimates include 80 to 100+ hours from one competitor and 120 to 150+ from another, extrapolated from GTA V’s pattern. Those differ by 50 hours and neither shows a method. What will move the number: the map’s size (unconfirmed), whether both protagonists need separate progress, and how much of the checklist is collectibles. We’ll publish our logged playthrough hours, with notes on how we counted, in this GTA 6 100% completion guide after launch.
Which GTA is the hardest to 100%?
There’s no official ranking, and “hardest” depends on what you count. GTA III has missions that get permanently disabled if you do certain others first. GTA V’s Platinum is far harder than its in-game 100% because it includes GTA Online trophies, such as 30 platinum medals and roughly 1.6 million RP for Rank 100. GTA 6’s difficulty depends on whether its trophy list includes online components, and none is announced.
GTA 6 100% Completion Guide: How to Prepare Before Launch
- Keep a clean save for cheats. Trophies were disabled permanently in older GTA games when cheats were used, but only for the session in GTA V. GTA 6’s rule is unknown.
- Preload. Preloading begins November 12, and boxed copies contain a download code, not a disc.
- Skip spoilers. Rockstar urged players to wait for official footage rather than judging leaks.
- Know your unlock time. PlayStation Store listings suggest a staggered rollout starting in New Zealand, but Rockstar hasn’t confirmed those times. Our GTA 6 countdown is a handy check.
- Have a plan. Track progress from hour one, because side content may not be flagged. This GTA 6 100% completion guide will mark anything missable as soon as we confirm it.
GTA 6 cheats, money, cars, weapons and easter eggs: what’s known

Will there be GTA 6 cheats?
None are announced. GTA V had 34 cheats but no money cheat. Any site listing “GTA 6 cheat codes” is guessing. We’ll publish codes only after testing them.
GTA 6 money guide: what’s known
Heists and robberies look central, and one preview report says you may need an ATM or risk losing cash. That’s a single report, so treat it as unconfirmed. GTA V’s best money came from scripted stock-market swings tied to story missions (documented in the GTAForums guide), but GTA 6’s economy hasn’t been shown in enough detail to say the same applies.
GTA 6 best cars and fastest car
No stats exist. The Ultimate Edition includes the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, plus custom builds. Beyond that, any “fastest car” list is invented. At launch we’ll test every vehicle on the same route and publish the raw numbers.
GTA 6 best weapons
The Ultimate Edition adds the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers and personalized weapon variants. A preview breakdown notes a limit on how many weapons you can carry. Rankings need testing.
GTA 6 best missions
Confirmed footage shows a drug pickup for Boobie Ike that collapses into a police shootout, and a private security job at a Megamundo event. That’s not enough to rank anything.
GTA 6 easter eggs spotted so far
- Gruppe Sechs security van: It returns from GTA V and appears outside Rideout Customs.
- Bugstars brand: It shows up on a product in a drug-cooking scene, tying back to GTA V’s first heist.
- Brian’s Boat Works cap: Jason wears it, and the location appears heavily in Trailer 2.
- Artwork: Fans identified the apartment print as a Patrick Nagel piece, not the original Vice City girl.
- “Val”: She could be the Valentina from GTA Online’s 2025 money laundering update, but nothing is confirmed.
Fake GTA 6 demos, cheats and downloads: the scam warning

No official demo exists. Fake Rockstar sites swap the Pre-Order button for Play Now, and the download steals passwords, login history and cookies. Huntress analyzed a fake installer bundling remote-access trojans, an infostealer and ransomware that acts as a wiper. There is also no legitimate PC build to download, since no PC version is announced. Malwarebytes documented a network of fake GTA 6 demo sites delivering an infostealer. If you ran one, scan the device, then change passwords from a different device. A reliable free antivirus is the backstop, but the real fix is not downloading it. Ignore any GTA 6 100% completion guide, cheat sheet or “save file” that arrives as a download: real guides are web pages, and no legitimate save file can exist before launch.
No PS5 or Xbox yet? What to play in the meantime

No PC version is announced. Rockstar has historically brought big titles to PC well after consoles, though that’s precedent, not a forecast. Until then, our games like GTA 5 offline list and best heist games for Android cover open-world and heist play on the hardware you already have.
GTA 6 100% Completion Guide FAQ
When will this GTA 6 100% completion guide be finished?
We’ll verify it against the finished game on launch day (November 19) and keep updating as we play. Every change goes in the update log below.
Is there an official GTA 6 100% checklist?
No. Rockstar hasn’t published one, and any exact requirements you see are predictions.
How long will GTA 6 take to 100%?
Nobody knows. Published estimates range from about 80 to 150+ hours and are extrapolated, not measured.
Will GTA 6 have trophies and achievements?
Likely, but there’s no official list yet.
Will GTA 6 have cheats?
None are announced. Older GTA games had them, but that’s precedent only.
Which GTA is the hardest to 100%?
There’s no official answer. GTA III’s permanently disabled missions and GTA V’s online-dependent Platinum are common pain points.
How do you get 100% in GTA 5?
Complete the checklist categories Rockstar weights: story missions, hobbies, strangers, random events and miscellaneous activities. Not every collectible counts fully.
Will there be an official GTA 6 guide book?
None is announced that I found. An official Red Dead Redemption 2 guide was published by Piggyback in association with Rockstar, so precedent exists, but books on sale now are unofficial and predate release.
Does GTA 6 have microtransactions or generative AI?
Rockstar North’s co-studio head told Kinda Funny no real-money purchases exist in the single-player game and no generative AI was used. That’s a preview-interview statement, and it doesn’t cover the future GTA Online.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not announced, so treat any PC date as speculation.
How we sourced this page
This GTA 6 100% completion guide uses Rockstar’s own announcements for release, platform and edition facts, and labels everything else Confirmed, Reported or Predicted. We don’t repeat mission counts or hour totals without a source. We’ll add first-hand data (logged hours, test numbers, screenshots) only after we’ve played the game, and we’ll fix any error within a day of it being reported.
